SQUAD GAME FOR LADIES
/noticias.info/ Everton Ladies assistant manager Andy Spence insists the whole squad will have a part to play this weekend when the Blues face a double header of games.
A trip to Watford on Saturday is first on the agenda followed by a home fixture against Cardiff on Sunday.
With second place in the Premier League already confirmed, Spence believes the two matches will provide a good opportunity for the fringe players.
“We have certainly got a busy weekend coming up and it is a tough ask to play two games in successive days,” he told evertonfc.com.
“The whole squad will be utilised and it’s a chance for a number of reserve players to stake their claim for next season.”
Three games remain in what has been a memorable campaign for the Ladies, and Spence is targeting maximum points.
He added: “If we win all our remaining fixtures, we will record our highest points total in seven seasons.
“It would be nice to end the season on a high especially after winning the League Cup this season.”
The Blues have a fully fit squad to choose from with the exception of long-term absentees Fern Whelan and Kelly McDougall. notas_de_prensa_archivo
