PSV: PSV play friendly against PAOK in Greece

One year later, PSV slipped to a 3-2 defeat in the first leg, but cancelled out the deficit in the return leg in Eindhoven, when they cruised to a 4-1 victory.

The Portuguese coach Fernando Santos, who was head coach at Benfica, Sporting, FC Porto and AEK Athens before he took charge at PAOK, is likely to include the Dutch midfielder Ruud Knol and the Australian Glen Salmon in his starting line-up. Knol spent seven seasons with Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse. He made 106 Eredivisie appearances and scored eight goals. Glen Salmon had spells in Holland with, among other clubs, NAC Breda and FC Groningen. He made a move to PAOK from NAC Breda last season. PSV captain Timmy Simons, Ismail Aissati, Danny Koevermans, Danko Lazovic and Dirk Marcellis, and youngsters Rens van Eijden and Género Zeefuik, among other players, will make the trip to Greece. notas_de_prensa_archivo
