ARSENAL: Wenger - English domination might not continue

/noticias.info/ The Premier League’s runaway success in Europe’s premier club competition is far from guaranteed to continue, according to Arsène Wenger.

For the first time two English sides will fight it out in the Champions League Final. But in the current climate, the Arsenal boss believes it is hard to predict whether the same could happen again.

With player power growing ever greater and the money in the game flowing as quickly as ever, Wenger thinks that the speed with which clubs can address weaknesses means that little in the game is predictable.

“This season, England was by far the best league,” said the Frenchman. “But it might not be the same next year.

“You have to accept that in the modern game it can change quickly. It is not like it was 20 years ago and it can change one season to the next because many clubs can rectify their mistakes.

“Next season you can have a strong Real Madrid, Barcelona or a strong Milan.” notas_de_prensa_archivo
