LIVERPOOL FC: SPURS V LFC: THE LAST FIVE
As the Reds prepare to bid farewell to 2007-08, Liverpoolfc.tv trawls its archive to recall our last five visits to White Hart Lane.

Premiership – December 2006
Rafa and the boys drove to north London in the no man's land between Christmas and New Year to face a team who'd won their last 12 home games. But Luis Garcia never was a man to respect records. As storms soaked the Lane, the sangria-swilling Spaniard sunk a 45th-minute winner from close-range to hand Liverpool all three points.
Spurs 0-0 Liverpool
Premiership – September 2005
The scoreline might suggest otherwise, but this was far from a bore draw as both Grzegorz Rasiak and Peter Crouch had headed goals disallowed after out-swinging corners apparently swung out. John Arne Riise came closest to breaking the deadlock with a fierce 20-yard volley which rattled the bar, but fate had it that the spoils would be shared.
Spurs 1-1 Liverpool (4-5 after pens)
Carling Cup quarter-final – December 2004
Allez, Allez, Sinama-Pongolle…The little French gem not only cancelled out Jermaine Defoe's opener with a calmly taken pen as the final whistle loomed but also scored the decisive kick in the shoot-out to keep Benitez's Babes (Whitbread, Potter and Raven all started) in the mix as eight became four on the road to Cardiff.
Spurs 1-1 Liverpool
Premiership - August 2004
A Frenchman's first league goal was not enough to earn the Reds an opening day victory as the Premiership said 'hola' to its first Spanish coach. Djibril Cisse illustrated why the Anfield board were willing to fork out a club record fee with a poacher's hit before the break, only to see his, and Rafa's, big day spoiled by a Defoe strike 19 minutes from time.
Spurs 2-1 Liverpool
Premiership - January 2004
Goals from Robbie Keane and Helder Postiga sent the Reds crashing to their seventh defeat in what was to become Gerard Houllier's final term at Anfield. Keane opened the scoring from the spot after being tripped by Igor Biscan, with Postiga taking advantage of some dodgy defending to double the hosts' lead early in the second half. Harry Kewell got one back with a low strike from the edge of the box but it was too little, too late. notas_de_prensa_archivo
