NUNO CONTRACT EXTENDED

/noticias.info/ Nuno Valente will be staying at Everton for another 12 months.

Everton have activated a clause in the defender's contract to keep him at Goodison Park for another season.

Valente has made 14 starts this season, missing sections of the season through injury.

Since joining in 2005, he has made over 50 starts for the Toffees.

The 33-year-old left-back arrived at Everton from Porto in three summers ago. This season he has played a part in some of Everton's best performances.

His European experience, in particular, has been key.

Valente featured in the wins over Nurnberg (2-0), Sunderland (7-1), AZ Alkmaar (3-2) and SK Brann (7-1). notas_de_prensa_archivo
