CECH CONFIRMED FOR CZECH SUMMER

/noticias.info/ Petr Cech is the latest Chelsea star to receive a formal call-up for Euro 2008. He is one of three keepers in the Czech Republic's provisional 23-man squad.

Not included are two big names in Czech football, Arsenal's Tomas Rosicky, ruled out following knee surgery, and Pavel Nedved of Juventus who retired from the international stage two years ago but had been the subject of speculation he would return to fill the gap left by Rosicky.

The Czech side begin their quest to become European champions for a second time in the tournament's opening game against Switzerland on June 7, before going on to play Portugal and Turkey.

Cech's selection follows three Chelsea names in the Portugal squad.
