INTER: Inter Primavera qualify for final eight
/noticias.info/ MILAN - Inter were beaten 3-2 by Parma in the return leg of their Campionato Primavera round of 16 tie - but qualify for the Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti final eight with an aggregate 6-5 victory.
Inter's managing director and CEO Ernesto Paolillo watched from the stands at the Centro Sportivo Parma FC as Luca Siligardi scored a fine solo goal in the 33rd minute to cancel out Bovi's opener for the Gialloblu - a penalty after a foul that saw Dennis Esposito sent off.
Parma increased their lead through Dessena after the break, with Lorenzini adding a third from substitute Elia's cross to set the alarm bells ringing.
But ten-man Inter hit back and 20-year-old midfielder Daniele Federici produced a close-range finish from Aiman Napoli's cross to put the defending champions through.
Parma Primavera coach Andrea Manzo, in charge of the first team for Sunday's title decider after Cuper's dismissal, was replaced by his assistant De Patre for today's match.
