FORMULA 1 – FORCE INDIA-FERRARI: Fisichella determined to carry on in F1

/noticias.info/ Giancarlo Fisichella is heading into his 200th grand prix at Monaco this weekend with thoughts of retirement still far from his mind.

The Italian veteran, who joined Force India this season after several years at Renault, is determined to stay in F1 for several more years despite joining the '200' club.

When asked by autosport.com if he wanted to continue racing for the foreseeable future, Fisichella said: "Well yes, a few more years for sure. I still feel strong physically and mentally.

"But for sure we need to keep pushing, to improve and to grow up this year and especially next year."

Despite his desire to remain in F1 for several seasons, however, Fisichella believes that Rubens Barrichello's record for the most grands prix would probably be out of his reach.

"I don't know. It is too far away at the moment. We will see," he said. notas_de_prensa_archivo
