AC MILAN: SCUDETTO ON OUR MINDS

During the 10th edition of the A.C. Milan Workshop, Adriano Galliani talked about the objectives reached and the targets for next season. - THE DECLARATIONS -

/noticias.info/ VILLASIMIUS (CA) - At the Atahotel Tanka Village Resort of Villasimius (Cagliari) a press conference was held this afternoon to present the 10th edition of the A.C. Milan Workshop 2008. Here are the declarations made by vice president and delegate administrator Adriano Galliani:

"The two trophies we are displaying today, the European SuperCup and the Club World Cup, were the realisation of the mission set out by Silvio Berlusconi in March 1986, which was to become to most title-winning club in the world. To achieve that we brought all of Milan and all of Milanello to Japan in December. On our return to Italy we earned 42 points in the league but we didn't manage to qualify for the Champions League as we had done eight times in the previous nine years. A good thing can come from a bad thing. Our first objective now is to win in Italy again. The warning to our players and our coach is clear. The first objective is the league after two mediocre seasons.

Next year Milan will have a very competitive squad. We are creating a new team, an important team which will have the Scudetto on their minds. Our season was so-so, but even in this kind of seasons Milan win the European SuperCup and the Club World Cup, trophies which our Italian competitors can only dream about. From now on we will do everything to make our wonderful fans happy."
