ARSENAL: Arsenal tops the National Fans' Survey
/noticias.info/ The 2007/2008 Premier League National Fan Survey — the definitive survey of top flight football — has produced first class results for Arsenal, including best ‘Overall Club Experience’ amongst all 20 Premier League clubs.
The survey, which was conducted online during October and November 2007, was completed by 34,826 supporters from all 20 Premier League clubs, including 4,293 Arsenal supporters.
The ‘Overall Club Experience’ which the Gunners finished top, was calculated from the results of four categories, with Arsenal being voted top in two of the categories — ‘Matchday Experience’ and ‘Stadium Safety’. In the other two categories — ‘Contact with the club’ and ‘Ticketing’, Arsenal was voted in fourth and fifth places respectively from the 20 Premier League clubs.
The survey reports in its Key Findings that Arsenal: “Achieves ‘better than good’ supporter ratings for the ‘matchday experience’ and ‘stadium facilities’ — achieving best in class status for the league. ‘Good’ ratings are seen for both ‘ticketing’ and ‘customer service’. All areas have seen an improvement since last year.”
The findings from the ‘Matchday Experience’ category were particularly pleasing for the Club, with Emirates Stadium being voted best for sightlines, toilet facilities, cleanliness, access to food and drink, and quality and range of food and drink, thus showing that our new stadium really is having a positive effect on supporters.
In the ‘Stadium Safety’ category, the results for Arsenal were also excellent, with the Club finishing top for fan safety, behaviour of people, stewarding and policing.
Stadium Manager John Beattie was thrilled with the Premier League’s findings: “We are delighted that Arsenal and therefore Emirates Stadium, has been voted as the best overall club experience by so many supporters,” said John. “To finish top in many categories from this Premier League survey is great recognition to the hard work by everyone at the Club in making Emirates Stadium the best possible experience for supporters. However, there is always room for improvement and we are continually striving to make our stadium even better to all visitors.” notas_de_prensa_archivo
