ARSENAL: Euro 2008 Week kicks off on Arsenal.com
/noticias.info/ It's Euro 2008 Week on Arsenal.com as we count down the final days to this summer's tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
A total of seven Arsenal players will represent their countries at this year's European Championship: Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie, William Gallas, Philippe Senderos, Johan Djourou, Lukasz Fabianski and Jens Lehmann. We're including Germany's No 1 because he is not quite at the end of his Arsenal contract.
Over next five days, we'll bring you SEVEN exclusive interviews. You can hear from three players who will be playing - Fabregas, Van Persie and Djourou - two who missed out - Bacary Sagna and Abou Diaby - plus Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and a man who knows a thing or two about international football - Kenny Sansom, Arsenal's most-capped English player.
You can also expect expert analysis of every Arsenal representative at Euro 2008 and the role they play for their countries. How is Fabregas perceived in Spain? Which position will Van Persie fill for Holland? Are Senderos or Djourou expected to start for co-hosts Switzerland? We'll have those answers and many more besides.
Of course, injuries have restricted the number of Gunners who will be in action this month. It's quite conceivable that Eduardo, Tomas Rosicky, Sagna and Diaby would also be involved if they were not sidelined. We'll find out just how much they will be missed with an insight from each country affected.
We hope you enjoy Euro 2008 Week on Arsenal.com. notas_de_prensa_archivo
