ARSENAL: Arsenal to launch new website this summer

/noticias.info/ Arsenal Football Club has commissioned award winning digital agency Rippleffect to re-launch its official website.

The new website is due to be unveiled later this summer and will be hosted by NTT Europe Online, part of leading hosting company NTT Communications.

The new website embraces a variety of web 2.0 features including Podcasts, Vodcasts, RSS feeds, social bookmarking, multi-media and user-generated content services.

Rippleffect is developing and testing the new website in full accordance with Web Accessibility Initiative guidelines and Disability Discrimination Act legislation. The new site also makes more use of a white design to increase the usability and readability of key information.

A user group of Arsenal fans has been testing the early site development and all of them have given the new design the thumbs up. The user group had the following to say about the new site:

"The new website seems more interactive, better presented and easier to navigate."

"The switch to a white background makes it a lot easier to read."

"It's well set out and easy to use."
