IRAQ: ISOF capture suspected criminal leader in Baghdad

/noticias.info/ BALAD, Iraq – Iraqi Special Operations Forces captured a suspected Special Groups leader in southern Baghdad June 19.

The ISOF conducted the operation to capture the suspected criminal believed to be an influential advisor in west Baghdad. The suspect allegedly has close ties to the Office of the Sadr in Najaf, and is suspected of having the ability to nominate Special Groups command positions in Baghdad.
