US ELECTIONS 08: BARACK OBAMA: Blog: Organizing Fellows Program Expands to Indiana

/noticias.info/ Based on the early success of the first wave of Organizing Fellows, we've decided to expand the program to Indiana, another key, closely contested contest.

In addition to the 3600 Fellows who are already on the ground across the country, a second wave of organizers will soon be sent to the Hoosier state.

If you'd like to be a part of this historic moment, but you missed the opportunity to apply for it this spring, you can apply now for our expanded Indiana program.

If you are selected, you'll be trained in the basic organizing principles that this campaign and this movement have been built on. You will then be assigned to an Indiana community where you'll organize supporters, register voters, and help grow the infrastructure we'll need to win in November.

The deadline to apply to the expanded Obama Organizing Fellows program in Indiana is midnight on Sunday, June 29th. Accepted Fellows will begin their assignment with a two-day training on July 12th and 13th and complete their assignment on August 22nd. All Fellows will be provided with housing where needed.
