EVERTON FC : YOBO PLAYS THROUGH PAIN

/noticias.info/ Joseph Yobo has revealed he has been playing through the pain.

The defender has taken part in four World Cup/African Nations qualifiers for Nigeria since the end of the Premier League season, and has been suffering with an ankle knock.

"What many people don't know is that I was playing with an ankle injury," Yobo said.

"I have had it for a while and I was supposed to rest it, but we had crucial games to play and we were short at the back so I needed because of injuries so I just had to force myself to play."

However, Yobo is confident he will be ready to return to pre-season training with Everton.

"The best thing for this kind of injury is rest," he continued. "The medical team here in Nigeria have been great and they helped me to manage it for this period.

"Now I have to give it the rest it needs so I can be ready for pre-season training with my club." notas_de_prensa_archivo
