EVERTON FC: DENNEHY TO BLUEBIRDS

/noticias.info/ Cardiff City have announced the signing of Everton defender Darren Dennehy.

The Republic of Ireland International was at Ninian Park undergoing a medical earlier this week.

Dennehy has been at Everton since 2005 and with his contract having ended this season, the player thought it was time to move on.

The 19-year-old had been offered a professional contract at the Toffees however the young defender, who is also capable of operating in midfield, saw more opportunities to play at the Bluebirds, who will be battling for promotion into the Premier League next season.

Born in Tralee, South-West Ireland, Dennehy has featured for Ireland’s under 21s on a number of occasions after graduating from their under 17 and under 19 teams. notas_de_prensa_archivo
