UEFA ORGANISATION: Ajax splash out on hot shot Sulejmani

/noticias.info/ AFC Ajax have signed teenaged Serbian international Miralem Sulejmani from Dutch Eredivisie rivals SC Heerenveen in a deal worth up to €16.25m.

Ajax have not revealed any contract details but the left-sided striker, who scored 15 goals in 26 league starts for Heerenveen last season, can expect a long-term deal with Marco van Basten's side. Brought to the Netherlands from FK Partizan in 2006/07, the 19-year-old was voted the best young player in the Dutch top flight last term. Sulejmani's goalscoring exploits in his debut campaign helped Heerenveen finish fifth, with Ajax in second place. He also earned his first two international caps, playing against F.Y.R.
