BEIJING 2008:Games venues stocked with Olympic toys, clothes, badges

/noticias.info/ All Olympic venues have stocked with commemorative toys, clothing, badges and pins for the global Games slated for August 8-24, 2008 in Beijing.

During the Games, an additional "super store" packed with licensed Olympic goods will be set up on the Olympic Green, site of many competition venues.

Olympic t-shirts, toys, dolls, badges and sculptures, with most priced under 300 yuan, will fill these specially approved stores. An exhibition of middle- and high-end Olympics memorabilia will be held at the flagship Olympics store on Wangfujing Street in central Beijing, just east of the Forbidden City.

By mid-July, the market will feature a series of badges to mark the days, and even the seconds, in the countdown to the Olympics. These badges will be priced at 126 yuan to 590 yuan each.

New and chic items designed to mark the Games' opening and closing ceremonies, venues and sports will also be released. notas_de_prensa_archivo
