BEIJING 2008:Liu Qi examines test run of Olympic and Paralympic Village
/noticias.info/ BOCOG President Liu Qi stressed continuous improvements to hardware, software and services at the Olympic and Paralympic Village when he visited the future athletes' residence on the second day of a two-day test run of operations there July 3-4, reported the Beijing Daily.
He urged workers to pay attention to details in the final preparations ahead of the Olympic Games, especially with regard to the medical clinic, which he emphasized should offer equal care and outstanding services to every guest.
Joined by BOCOG Vice President Chen Zhili, State Councilor Dai Bingguo, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, Beijing Mayor and BOCOG Executive President Guo Jinlong and Du Deyin, chairman of the Beijing People's Congress, Liu watched flag raising ceremonies staged for three mock delegations.
The officials ended their tour of the venue with a discussion in which Liu again stressed the importance of providing personalized services for guests from different parts of the world.
