EVERTON FC: YOBO GESTURE
/noticias.info/ Everton are continuing to offer their full support to Joseph Yobo.
The Blues’ defender’s brother, Norum Yobo was kidnapped in Port Harcourt, Nigeria on Sunday 6 July.
On Friday afternoon, yellows ribbons were placed on the Dixie Dean statue at Goodison to wish for the safe return of Norum.
Yobo is still in Nigeria after having his pre-season break extended.
Everton's head of PR and external affairs, Ian Ross, said: “As we await patiently the release of Joseph’s brother Norum. We thought it would be a nice gesture and something to show Joseph and his family that we are thinking of them at this desperately hard time.
“Our chairman Bill Kenwright has been in constant contact with Joseph in Nigeria as we continue to do all we can.
“Joseph is aware that he has the full support of everybody connected at Everton – players, staff and supporters. We hope Norum is returned safely.” notas_de_prensa_archivo
