FORMULA 1 – SPYKER: Singapore completes pit building 7/14/2008 3:48 PM

/noticias.info/ Singapore Grand Prix race organisers have officially opened the new pit building for their track as preparations continue for Formula One's first night race.

The building, which is situated along the Marina Promenade, was handed over to organisers in a ceremony on Friday, attended by local politicians and race representatives.

The structure cost £15 million, and as well as hosting the teams will also be the location of F1's corporate entertainment Paddock Club.

Work for the race is continuing, with required road works having been completed last month and the focus now being on the installation of the lighting system.
