EVERTON FC: AFRICAN DUO TO RETURN

/noticias.info/ The return of African duo Steven Pienaar and Yakubu is imminent.

That is according to David Moyes who explained that he expects to have the two players back in the Everton camp within the next few days.

The Blues squad has been relatively short on numbers in pre-season so far and the homecoming of his top goal-scorer from last season - as well as the South African international - will be a welcome sight at Everton’s training ground.

But with Victor Anichebe currently in Beijing preparing for the Olympics with his national side Nigeria and Joseph Yobo having been given extra leave due to family reasons, Moyes doesn’t expect to see his entire African contingent back too soon.

“We’re waiting for the arrival back over the next few days of Steven Pienaar and Yak. And then if we can get Mikel (Arteta) back into the fold and that will help as well.” notas_de_prensa_archivo
