BEIJING 2008:Building up recognition for domestic brands
/noticias.info/ Launched in 2003, the BOCOG marketing program for the Beijing Olympics proactively sought ways to increase recognition for domestic brand names. Lenovo Group became a TOP Partner of the IOC in the process, and a long list of outstanding domestic enterprises became partners of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, including the Bank of China, China Netcom, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation.
Meanwhile Haier, Sohu.com Inc, Yili Group, Tsingdao, Yanjing signed on as sponsors for the Games, and China Great Wall Wine, Synear Food Holdings, Arawana, Beifa became exclusive suppliers.
BOCOG hopes these domestic enterprises will be able to benefit from brand association with the Olympic Games and develop brand recognition around the world. notas_de_prensa_archivo
