UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Henrique in and out at Barça

/noticias.info/ FC Barcelona are to sign Brazilian defender Henrique from SE Palmerias for an initial fee of €8m and immediately loan him to Bayer 04 Leverkusen, where he will spend the first of the five seasons he has agreed to stay at Camp Nou.

Barça also announced that the 21-year-old – who won Brazil's Paulista Championship with his club last term – will cost them an extra €2m should they qualify for the UEFA Champions League after the loan deal has ended. Meanwhile, the Catalan club have also reached an agreement with AFC Ajax for the transfer of defender Oleguer Presas. The 28-year-old will travel to Amsterdam to discuss terms before undergoing a medical. Ajax have agreed to pay an initial fee of €3m plus extras.
