FORMULA 1: Timo Glock to return to TF108 cockpit on Thursday

/noticias.info/ Toyota's Timo Glock, who was involved in a high-speed accident during last weekend's German Grand Prix, will be back in action on Thursday when he joins Toyota for the team’s third day of testing at the Spanish circuit of Jerez.

The 26-year-old spent Sunday night in hospital in Ludwigshafen for precautionary checks but returned home on Monday morning for rest and further medical tests. And with the subsequent checks confirming he had suffered no injuries or concussion, he has now been given the all clear to return to the cockpit.

After studying data from the German’s TF108, the Toyota team have traced the cause of the accident to the car’s right rear toelink/trackrod. The squad have also concluded that there were no exceptional circumstances immediately before the incident, and are now conducting a thorough analysis of the loading data from earlier in the race to determine if an event occurred which prompted the failure. notas_de_prensa_archivo
