ARSENAL: Two more Arsenal legends set for Hall of Fame
/noticias.info/ Two more Arsenal legends are set to be inducted into the National Football Museum Hall of Fame.
Thierry Henry, who recently topped the Gunners' Greatest Players poll on Arsenal.com, will take his place among the pantheon of football greats. The French striker won two League titles, two FA Cups and four Golden Boots during his time with Arsenal and also became the Club's record goalscorer, netting 226 times in 380 games.
Henry will be joined in the Hall of Fame by Bertie Mee, the man who led Arsenal to its first European trophy - the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup - in 1970 before masterminding the Club's first League and FA Cup 'double' in 1971. Mee, who died in 2001 aged 82, brought the good times back to Highbury after a long spell without silverware.
Henry and Mee will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a ceremony in London on September 18. They follow in the footsteps of a number of Arsenal legends - Dennis Bergkamp received the same honour last year while Liam Brady and Tony Adams are also on the roll of honour. notas_de_prensa_archivo
