MILAN - Here follow all of Cristian Brocchi's declarations:

'After these first few training sessions the balance is positive because we've worked a lot and well. We have put some kilometers in our legs, we needed it after the vacations. Now we have the friendlies, which are useful to taste the flavor of football matches again.'

'It was nice to feel the enthusiasm of the fans on the day of the reunion and these days, because hearing that the fans were a bit unhappy before hurts us players: we know we didn't do well in the league and to have failed an important objective, but we also know we did some great things lately. So our pride was damaged. But now seeing so many fans with the team not yet complete made us find new motivations and strength to win the Scudetto, considering that we still have a lot of will to win.'

'The new arrivals? I always look more at the group than at individual players. All those who arrive notice the great union and the group spirit, which is very strong here. That's what makes the difference. I am sure that the new arrivals will have no kind of problem, on the other hand, they will become part of a group which has a lot of will to win.'

'I always look at things very calmly. I know that every player is needed over the course of the season. It's clear that there will be situations where, with a slightly unbalanced system, us midfielders will have to run more. But everyone has their own characteristics and it's right like that. Asking Ronaldinho to run after another player for a whole game is like asking us defensive midfielders to make moves and put the ball in the top corner of the net...'
