AC MILAN: THE YEAR TO COME

/noticias.info/ This afternoon in Rome the calendar for the 2008/9 season was presented. Milan will debut at San Siro in the weekend of 30-31 August 2008: Milan-Bologna. The match against Inter will be on the 5th matchday.

ROME - The calendar of the 2008-09 season was officialised. This is the first matchday, programmed for 30-31 August 2008:

Atalanta-Siena
Cagliari-Lazio
Catania-Genoa
Chievo-Reggina
Fiorentina-Juventus
Milan-Bologna
Roma-Napoli
Sampdoria-Inter
Torino-Lecce
Udinese-Palermo

Concerning the big matches, Milan will face Inter on 28 September on the 5th matchday, with the return game on 15 February 2009. Juventus-Milan will be played on the 16th matchday on 14 December, the return game on 10 May. Milan-Roma will be played on the 18th matchday on 11 January, the return game on 24 May.
Concerning the other derbies, on the 8th matchday there's Juventus-Torino, Roma-Lazio on the 12th, Sampdoria-Genoa on the 15th. These are the other important matches of the league: on the 7th matchday Inter-Roma. Juve-Roma on the 10th matchday and Inter-Juve on the 13th.

The league will start with a match at 18.00 of Saturday 30 August and will end on 31 May. There will be three midweek rounds.
