EVERTON FC: CAHILL SAD OVER AJ
Tim Cahill says he will be saddened to see the departure of Andy Johnson, should the striker’s move away from the Club be completed.
/noticias.info/ The Australian midfielder was taking part in a hugely successful webchat for evertonfc.com on Monday night when he was asked to give his thoughts.
He said: “It’s a sad day if he [Johnson] goes, because he’s a close friend. I don’t read the newspapers so I don’t really know what’s happening. But it’s always sad to see Everton players leave.
Cahill is currently in Chicago after linking up with the squad for the two-game tour of the United States of America.
Although a foot injury will prevent him from playing any part in fixtures against Chicago Fire and Colorado Rapids he is delighted to be back among his team-mates.
“The atmosphere in the camp is brilliant,” he said. “It’s always a buzz for the lads to get back together, especially after a long time.”
