EVERTON FC: MOYES STILL LOOKING
/noticias.info/ David Moyes has reaffirmed his intention to add to his squad ahead of the new season.
The Everton manager last week said he hoped to bring in up to six new faces but has made no movements in the market to date.
Although he would like to make additions soon, the Scottish boss insists he has the utmost confidence in the squad of players he already has at his disposal.
Said Moyes: “We want to progress every year and we know we’ll need to add more players to the squad for that to happen. But hopefully that will happen shortly.
“The players here have done really well though. We’ve not got a lot of them but we’ve got 13 or 14 really good players who would feature for most teams in the Premier League.”
One player Everton have reportedly been looking at is Club American starlet Guillermo Ochoa. Moyes admitted he plans to bring in a back-up goalkeeper but dismissed stories linking the Club with the Mexican.
“We need a second goalkeeper to come in and back up what we’ve got, but I don’t know where those rumours [about Ochoa] have come from,” said Moyes. “The name has been mentioned to me but there’s no more than that." notas_de_prensa_archivo
