EVERTON FC: BLUES MEET THE FANS
/noticias.info/ David Moyes and a few of the players have met a host of Evertonians in Chicago.
The manager was accompanied by Tim Howard, Tim Cahill, Leon Osman and James Vaughan at The Globe Pub on West Irving Street in the US city on Tuesday night.
The bar, renowned in these parts for being a real 'soccer' venue was packed to the rafters with Everton supporters from both sides of the Atlantic and they were entertained by a question and answer session with the Toffees representatives.Conducted on the stage by the club's Media & Publications Manager, Darren Griffiths, the Q & A was very well received and it was a memorable night.
Amongst many topics up for discussion, Tim Howard spoke of the passion of the Blues fans, Tim Cahill relived his first goal (and subsequent sending-off!) in an Everton shirt, Leon Osman recalled the highlights of Europe last season and James Vaughan revealed his pride at scoring for the club when he was just 16 years old."The lads stood and spoke together for about 45 minutes and the fans loved it," said Darren.
"We got through a huge range of topics and, of course, Tim Howard in particular was enthusiastically received by the Americans in the bar.
"The event was hosted by Chang and we are grateful for their help in this because it was a wonderful exercise." notas_de_prensa_archivo
