EVERTON FC: HOWARD TO START

/noticias.info/ Everton boss David Moyes has welcomed back a number of senior players for tonight's game against Chicago Fire.

Yakubu, Steven Pienaar and Leighton Baines all make their first starts of the 2008/09 campaign, while American goalkeeper Tim Howard will be a pleasing addition for the American supporters.

It's far from a partizan crowd however - an impressive number of Blues fans - flags and all - have made the trip to the Windy City.

Jose Baxter, who scored a stunning equaliser in Friday's 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest, will again join youngsters Jack Rodwell and Dan Gosling in the starting XI. Lukas Jutkiewicz is named on the bench.

The local time come kick off at Toyota Park will be 7.30pm. It's been a scorching day in Chicago and with both the heat and humidity intense this fixture promises to provide a testing work out for the Toffees.

Meanwhile, Everton assistant manager Steve Round is not present at Toyota Park having flown home from America following a family breavement.
