FOOTBALL EUROPE: Alania exit for Shum

/noticias.info/ Israeli coach Itzhak Shum has parted company with Russian Premier League side FC Alania Vladikavkaz by mutual consent.

Third exit
Shum said: "The rumours that I was having negotiations with other clubs did not help. Alania's president asked me to sign a new two-year deal, but I refused and so we came to a mutual decision that I should quit my job at the club." Shum was Alania's third coach this season after former club captain Bakhva Tedeev and Edgar Gess.

Alania struggle
Aleksandr Yanovski, who has been with the club for 15 years, will act as caretaker for the fifth time in his career until a permanent replacement is appointed. Alania are currently second-from-bottom in the table, having lost their last four league games.
